DOWNTOWN — Around 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, a man presented a demand note to the cashier at the Abercrombie & Fitch clothing store in Horton Plaza shopping mall, according to a report from the San Diego Police Department. Witnesses said the robber left the store carrying merchandise in three shopping bags and fled on foot going eastbound on the 400 block of E Street. The man was described as a 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, 165-pound, Hispanic male wearing a gray Abercrombie shirt, navy blue hoodie with plaid lining inside the hood, and blue jeans. The amount of merchandise stolen remains undetermined, and witnesses reported that they did not see a weapon. The SDPD’s Central Division is handling the investigation.
