POINT LOMA – More than 200 boats set sail to Cabo San Lucas from Shelter Island on Monday, Oct. 25 in the 17th annual Baja-Ha-Ha Cruiser’s Rally. The race, for boats of all types, started at 10 a.m. and will cover 750 miles. The race will last until Saturday, Nov. 6. Over the next two weeks, the boats will make stops in Turtle Bay and Bahia Santa Maria before the race culminates at Cabo San Lucas, bringing economic boosts to each of those areas — along with the San Diego area. The rally is open to all boats more than 27 feet long that are designed for open-ocean sailing. For more information, visit www.baja-haha.com.
