The 10th annual Fleet Week San Diego, one of the largest military appreciation events in the nation, will honor military personnel and offer civilians an opportunity to learn more about those who defend our nation. The month-long festivities begin Saturday, Sept. 23.
Participants will be able to tour Navy ships, see fighter jet demonstrations and take part in military traditions.
“Fleet Week San Diego has provided hundreds of thousands of people with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with our nation’s military,” said Fleet Week Chairwoman Lisa Richards. “With San Diego County home to more Marine and Navy bases than any other city in the country, it is the ideal home for this annual tribute.”
