Several area soccer teams are having a kick this winter.
On the girls side, The Bishop’s School came into play this week with a record of 9-3-1 for head coach Brian Quinn.
The Lady Knights are unbeaten since losing their first three games of the season. “We have only conceded one goal in the last 10 games,” Quinn noted. “The whole defense deserves credit ” Hannah Krentler-Brown, Bree Geary, Stevie Griglak, Laurel Casey, Cassie Dreher and Lia Sagerman.”
On the offensive side, Annie Kadota and Lindsey Holman-Kelley lead the team.
“One of the most pleasing aspects for me has been the contributions from the freshmen,” Quinn said. “Both Laura Aguilar and Kaylie Davidson have made major contributions, and the future is bright for the girls varsity team at Bishop’s. Our goal is to be one of the top three seeds at CIFs.”
