San Diego Blood Bank, the primary supplier of blood to the majority of hospitals in San Diego County, is teaming up with the San Diego Gulls, San Diego Honda dealers and Mighty 1090 AM for a special San Diego Gulls Blood Drive on 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 15 at Valley View Casino Center, 3500 Sports Arena Blvd. Gulls players are scheduled to meet and greet blood donors around 11:30 a.m.
Now through April 14 blood donors donating at any of the six SDBB donor centers or any mobile drive will receive a buy-one-get-one-free ticket voucher for the April 15 or April 16 game against the Reign. 
Donors at the drive on April 15 will receive the same buy-one-get-one-free voucher as well as a ticket voucher to attend the Gulls first playoff home game later in the month and a free “San Diego Honda Dealers Drive to the Playoffs” T-shirt while supplies last. The Gulls’ flagship radio network, Broadcast Company of the Americas, will be in attendance all day on April 15 with the Scott and BR show on Mighty 1090-AM taking place live from Valley View Casino Center.
This event kicks off the San Diego Honda Dealers ‘Drive to the Playoffs’ weekend as the Gulls face the Ontario Reign in back-to-back home games to wrap up the regular season.
