Riding a three-game winning streak (and one tie) into action this coming Saturday, the Albion Pros soccer team is having another strong season. Albion recently scored victories over Oxnard (2-1), Coras (3-0), and City of Angels (4-1). The team’s most recent match (last weekend) was a 1-1 tie with FC Arizona. In its 3-0 shutout of Coras, Albion handed the guests their first defeat of the season. The hosts received goals from Amani Walker, Frankie Sanfilippo and Tre Hayes. Albion is scheduled to host Temecula 6 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at Mission Bay High stadium. Saturday’s game will be a chance for the home team to extract some revenge, having dropped a 1-0 decision to Temecula back in April. After this Saturday’s home contest, Albion will visit OCFC on June 24, return to host Socal SC on July 1, and visit Corinithians on July 8 to end regular season play. Run for Fun
