Officers responded to a radio call of a body floating in Mission Bay at 10:30 a.m. on May 22 near Mariners Way. When they arrived on scene they located a deceased female approximately 50-60 years of age face down in of the receding tidewater. The Medical Examiner was called to the scene and took possession of the body. The Medical Examiner will complete the examination to determine cause of death and identity of the woman.
