Textiles handmade by Quechua Indians, such as this intricate weaving, were on view last month at the Institute of the Americas’ Weaver Center, 10111 N. Torrey Pines Road.
Cynthia LeCount Samake collected the textiles from more than 30 trips to the Altiplano region of Bolivia and Peru.
Photographer Jeffrey Roth also exhibited 40-plus images of the Andean area.
