The Juan Carlos Organization presents the third annual Dia de los Muertos celebration, featuring Manny Cepeda Orchestra, 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 at Christ Lutheran Church, 4761 Cass St., Pacific Beach. At this Day of the Dead celebration, attendees will enjoy live music, Mexican food by Tacos El RIchi, dancing, and face-painting.
Attendees are invited to bring souvenirs and mementoes of their loved one to put on the memorial alter. Tickets are $15 at the door or online at www.jcorg.org. All proceeds will support the Juan Carlos Organization, founded in 2012 to bring programs of inclusive dance-therapy exercise to the special needs community of San Diego and beyond.
