Daniel Jewelry & Gifts store celebrated 32 years in business recently with an anniversary party at the residence of owner Jim Lavi. Guests, friends, and clients came from as far away as Los Angeles, Washington, Phoenix and Colorado to attend the festivities. Lavi provided dancing, music, cocktails and dinner. The celebration started with the marriage of one of Lavi’s clients, Dean Lee. Daniel Jewelry & Gift was established in 1978 in La Jolla. After 19 years, it relocated to the Fashion Valley Mall for 10 years. In 2007, this exclusive store returned to La Jolla and now resides at 1241 Prospect St. The store specializes in diamonds and precious gemstone jewelry. As soon as you enter the store you are surrounded with incredible pieces of jewelry as well as a line of high quality Swiss watches including, IWC, Tag Heuer and Mont Blanc. “Eighty percent of the work is manufactured on the premises and this is what sets us apart from other stores,” Lavi said. The diamond designs range from 1 carat to 10 carats. Award-winning designers Judith Ripka and Roberto Coin, “The King of Gemstones,” are two additional designers that Daniel Jewelry carries. These two extra lines set this exclusive store apart from other jewelry stores. The store also offers another unique gift, a Mont Blanc pen, the ultimate writing instrument. Some of their celebrity clients include Alyssa Milano, Colin Farrell and Hillary Swank.
