PACIFIC BEACH — Crews will gather on Saturday, Sept. 4 at the base of Grand Avenue, north of the lifeguard tower for the monthly Clean PB Day. The event is sponsored and performed by the Safe and Beautiful Committee of the Pacific Beach Town Council. The public is invited to join with other community members and participate. Trash bags, gloves and grabbers are all provided. The event will serve as a way to meet other residents of Pacific Beach or can be used as a way for children to complete community service credits for school. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a waiver form, which all who participate must also sign. Clean PB Day takes place from 9 a.m. to noon.
