Councilmember Jennifer Campbell will host a Community Workshop on Homelessness convening city, county, and law enforcement officials to promote existing resources and present the new City Community Action Plan on Homelessness at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 at Crown Point Junior Music Academy, 4033 Ingraham St. Members of the community and providers are invited to learn about the City’s new Strategic Community Plan on Homelessness, hear from individuals with lived experience and how local agencies will be partnering together to address homelessness in District 2. Scheduled to attend are Lisa Jones, sr. vice president of Homeless Housing Innovations at SD Housing Commission, Capt. Scott Wahl, San Diego Police Department, Omar Passons, County Health and Human Services, as well as guest speakers with homelessness experiences.
