July 8 Pacific Beach Town Council (PBTC) will hold its monthly sundowner – a community meet-andgreet – at Rose Creek Cottage, 2525 Garnet Ave. PBTC will honor past presidents since 1953, including John Perniconi, June Sandford, Eve Anderson, Jim Moore, Ruby Houck and honorary mayor John Logan. July 12 Pacific Beach Town Council hosts its annual Celebrate the Family festival at Kate Sessions Park, 5115 Soledad Rd., that includes a free Astro jump, obstacle course, live band, professional Hawaiian dancers, arts and crafts, games and a barbeque.
