The Pacific Beach Woman’s Club is collecting socks to donate to Stand Up for Kids, a nonprofit organization assisting homeless teens. The club’s goal is to collect 1,000 pairs of new and slightly used socks by Nov. 9. Donations can be dropped off at the Pacific Beach Woman’s Club, 1721 Hornblend St. The club holds a monthly dinner, during which it collects hygiene and clothing items for Stand Up for Kids.
