Due to several regional as well as other local considerations, the impacts of climate change on social systems are anticipated to vary around the globe. As a result, various climate action platforms would call for various modeling studies, adaptation techniques, and technological systems.

Furthermore, because scientists currently lack thorough knowledge of the mechanisms underlying climate change, it is difficult to disaggregate the consequences of global warming upon various agro-climatic zones. By improving observational and modeling methods and systems, strong competence in basic and applied climate science research would need to be developed. The world is too big to implement policies based on average global climate change.

An effective response to climate change

The national knowledge system’s ability to offer the necessary and anticipated results for efficient action is now constrained by a variety of factors. The National Mission for Strategic Knowledge on Climate action platform’s major objective will be to address these limits through strategic initiatives, including the creation of the necessary human and institutional resource capability. As a result, the Mission’s goals have been determined to be the following.

  • Through the creation of knowledge networks as well as institutional support, information sharing, and exchange are made possible amongst the existing information and institutions are working on climate science research and also developments.
  • Creation of international technology to watch on organizations with the institutional resources to conduct research on the selection of technologies with the lowest possible risk for developmental decisions.
  • Increasing the country’s capacity to simulate the regional effects of climate change on various ecological zones for various seasons and living conditions.
  • Establishing networks for research and promoting the study of how climate change affects key socioeconomic areas like agriculture, ecosystems, health, natural ecosystems, biodiversity, coastal zones, etc.
  • Increasing education and understanding of the main climate processes, the resulting climate threats, and the effects.
  • Forming alliances and collaborations through bilateral and international Science and technology cooperation agreements in climate change technology and research development.

Adopting this concept can help in focusing on countries’ initiatives to lower greenhouse gas. While also helps in promoting thriving communities, economic development, and social equality. Road networks, building electricity, and trash are the sectors where actions are concentrated and have the most demand and impact. The strategy also calls for measures that will make our community more resistant to the likely effects of climate change.

Role of Cities in Climate Action Platform

Cities play a significant role in combating climate change since more than  7 billion people live in metropolitan areas. The layout of cities is how people use the land, how we build, and how we move around—have a big impact on how much energy we consume and how many greenhouse gases (GHG) people emit.

It is anticipated that an addition of 1.5 billion people to live in cities around the globe over the next twenty years, most of them in emerging nations. Therefore, cities like developing and developed countries must show that it is somehow possible to reduce GHG emissions significantly while also fostering more thriving and prosperous communities for residents and businesses.

  • Objectives Achieve net zero emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) by 2050
  • Be ready for climate change’s likely effects.

In 2011, the mayor & city council created a strong emission reduction vision for the town, realizing and creating actionable goals are the first step toward reducing climate pollution.

Mitigate Climate Change with an Expertise’ Solution

Climate change is not a problem that stands alone from the other problems that nations face. The causes of climate change are ingrained in long-standing patterns of land use, and transportation, including building energy usage, therefore finding solutions to the problem is likewise impossible on its own.

These problems can be handled, and you can make the world green and clean. For this, people can research different websites and hire experts who can help in reaching their goal to combat climate change.
