The purpose of Spring Valley day is to raise public awareness, increase community involvement, and celebrate the beauty and diversity of Spring Valley and La Presa. The event co-presenters are the Spring Valley Community Alliance (SVCA), Spring Valley Chamber of Commerce, New Seasons Church, and La Mesa-Spring Valley Schools.
Among those scheduled to appear are Dr. Akilah Weber, assemblymember, 79th District; The office of Nora Vargas, chairwoman, San Diego Supervisors, District 1; Braulio Sanabria, president, SVCA; and Christopher Pierce, vice president, SVCA.
