A 50-year-old male was riding his bicycle northbound at 1400 East Mission Bay Drive, without any lights on his bike at 11 p.m. on June 19. A 52-year-old male driving a Nissan 350Z, northbound 1400 East Mission Bay Drive drove up behind the bicyclist and hit him. The cyclist was transported to the hospital by medics with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not a factor. Traffic division responded to the scene and are investigating the accident.
