A 26-year-old male was riding a scooter southbound at 3300 Ocean Front Walk about 8 p.m. on March 2 in Mission Beach. The rider’s friends were in front of him and when they looked back they saw him on the ground. It is unknown what caused the rider to fall. He was transported to the hospital with a fractured skull and brain bleed. The injuries are non life threatening. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
