With rain in the forecast this week, the City of San Diego is making storm preparations and reminds city residents that free sandbags are available at one centrally located recreation center in each City Council District.  
Sandbags are in limited supply. Residents with identification showing proof of residency can receive up to 10 empty sandbags. Sandbags are available anytime between 1 and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday; and from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. 
Sandbags are available at Robb Athletic Field, 2525 Bacon St.
