BALBOA PARK — The third annual Art Rocks event will take place at the Timken Museum of Art in Balboa Park on Aug. 28 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Two fashion design students at Fashion Career College, Andrea Burke and Sharlene Borromeo, will showcase their fashion collections to the backdrop of a DJ spinning music. The budding designers’ collections were inspired by 16 masterpieces inside Timken. Models will wear the creations in front of the artwork that inspired the piece. Food and drinks will be served as well. Cost to attend the event is $125.
