PACIFIC BEACH – Vons Gas Market, 1680 Garnet Ave., was robbed Nov. 8 at 6:43 a.m. The suspect showed a note demanding cash. He then proceeded to show the clerk a gun in his waistband, according to a statement from the San Diego Police Department. He left on foot heading eastbound on Garnet Avenue. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, 5-feet, 5-inches-tall with a medium build. He wore a dark-colored hoodie, and his face was covered by a red bandana.
