Well, can you believe it? Our school year has almost come to an end.
At Patrick Henry, we are very proud of the work taking place here to support all our learners to become thoughtful and productive citizens with a sense of purpose, integrity and a curiosity about the world in which they live.
The faculty and staff would like to congratulate the 562 seniors of the Class of 2022. We are so very proud of your accomplishments and we are so excited for you to start your new journeys. Remember – once a Patriot always a Patriot. We are looking forward to learning about your new experiences. We will celebrate the graduates on Tuesday, June 14 at 5 p.m. in our stadium. The graduation ceremony will also be live-streamed. The link will be posted on our website.
This summer, we will have summer school for students who need to take courses for graduation. Students who are 16 and older will need a vaccine to participate in summer school.
In late July, PHHS students and parents will receive a welcome letter to support students as they transition back to school in August 2022.
I would like to congratulate Jamie Jorgenson, principal at Hearst, and Susan Levy, principal at Pershing for their years of service within San Diego Unified School District and the Henry Cluster. Thank you for all your dedication and commitment to our students and families. I wish you the very best in your retirements.
On behalf of the Patrick Henry High School faculty, we want to thank you for being our partner in education so we can ensure all students graduate with integrity, purpose, and options.

Congratulations to the Patrick Henry counseling team. This year, 69 schools in 19 states received the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation. These schools will be honored during a special ceremony at the ASCA annual conference for making an exemplary commitment to their school counseling programs.
The RAMP designation, awarded for aligning with the criteria in the ASCA National Model, recognizes schools committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-informed school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment. Since the program’s inception, nearly 1,200 schools have been designated as RAMP recipients.
This year, Virginia leads the number of RAMP designations, with 10 schools in the state receiving the honor. Thirteen schools, in California, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Virginia, will receive the RAMP School of Distinction award, honoring schools with exceptionally high-caliber school counseling programs based on rankings determined by a panel of RAMP reviewers.
Patrick Henry counseling team is the only RAMP winner in the County of San Diego.
