Presented by the Hodad’s Foundation and AWOL Productions, the OB Pier Surf Contest on Feb. 1 was for all the local rippers and families in Ocean Beach. There were a variety of divisions for men, women, juniors, groms, a fun family division, in longboard and shortboard. All registered participants received T-shirts and trophies were handed out for the winners. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Hodad’s Foundation to encourage more youth sports, summer surf and skate camps. The results are: Men’s Masters Shortboard
