Annual Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo this weekend

Historic Old Town is back to spice up the weekend at the 36th annual Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo. Taking place Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, Cinco de Mayo this free celebration attracts more than 100,000 people with its bustling mercado, non-stop music and live entertainment on the Café Coyote stage, Lucha Libre wrestling matches at the Lucha Cantina Ring, more than 75 authentic food and craft vendors, the iconic Lowrider Lane and more. Get ready to shake your maracas and get in the pachanga mood with live entertainment all weekend at the Café Coyote stage.

Take a break from all that salsa dancing and stroll through the iconic Lowrider Lane and be wowed by the unique paint jobs and car modifications that have become a Fiesta favorite. Head to the Lucha Libre Cantina Ring to watch masked men in stretchy pants throwing down body slams, somersaults, backflips, and trash talk en Español. All that action and drama will leave you thirsty for some Baja-inspired beverages. Stop by Lucha Cantina for a refreshing Dos XX cerveza or an ice-cold Frida Kahlo or Herradura margarita topped to perfection with Cointreau liqueur. Don’t forget to challenge your spice tolerance with all the Cinco specials from participating restaurants at Old Town’s eateries or treat your taste buds to a wide selection of authentic cuisine. With free activities for children, such as; face painting, arts and crafts, and so much more, there will be no time for a siesta at this fun-filled fiesta.
