On Feb. 19, a 55-year-old woman was riding her motorcycle northbound in the No. 2 lane near 3100 Torrey Pines Road. The woman veered into the center median, causing the motorcycle to crash. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident, but the woman suffered an open fracture to her left leg, as well as fractured her pelvis. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision. SDPD will be further investigating the collision.
