LA JOLLA — Students of the San Diego French-American School, located at 6550 Soledad Mountain Road, were in for a treat when they arrived for their last day of class before holiday break Dec. 17. La Jollan David Bronner, owner of Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps, sprayed his environmentally-friendly natural product over the front lawn and trees at the entrance of the school, creating a scene that resebled a winter wonderland. Bronner laid the “snow” just in time for the children’s arrival Friday morning at the school, which sits atop Mt. Soledad. The kids were happily surprised when they showed up for school, said a school representative, and “snowballs” flew as the children enjoyed winter San Diego-style on that foggy morning.
