The public is invited this Thursday to attend a screening of a 10-minute film on the value of libraries, produced by San Diego State Student Filmmakers.
Thursday’s screening will take place from 5-5:45 p.m. in the community room of the College-Rolando Library, 6600 Montezuma Road.
This film examines how patrons are impacted by a library in their local community, and on a broader scale. It will also be making the argument that local public libraries and librarians remain vital to communities, even in this digital age. It highlights the work of the CR Library staff. The CRL Friends celebrate the work of their library staff who daily fulfill their role in the community.
