Spring Fashion 2023 was presented by St. Elizabeth Seton Women’s Auxiliary in Carlsbad on April 29. Their mission is spiritual growth, service, and community. This fashion show and Champagne luncheon were held at the Parish Hall. As everyone arrived they were entertained with beautiful piano music by Mia Sherman.
The guests were able to sip on Champagne, sponsored by Strazzeri Mancini LLP, and shop Cabi fashions. All the attendees sat down to a delicious luncheon. Each table was beautifully decorated with a ranunculus centerpiece. These gorgeous flowers were a lovely addition to the ambiance.
The co-chairs and board members for this event were Marion Patterson, Judy Laird, and Diana Aurora.
Marijane Relth was the stylist and mistress of ceremonies for the fashion show. Reith introduced each segment and then had the models come up on the stage for a closer look. The volunteer models for this show highlighted all ages, sizes, and shapes. The clothes on the runway were from Cabi, which is a company established in 2001. They are a stylish and fashion-forward brand.
The spring/summer collection has bold colors such as lemon yellow and tangerine orange. They say, “I am ready to play.” Cabi also has classic denim in various washes such as the Malibu Jean and the Button Fly Straight. The white 5th Avenue Jean is perfect for the coming warm months. The standout jean was a pair of sunny yellow jeans, which are perfect for fun in the sun here in Southern California.
Another standout on the runway was the Coco skirt and jacket. This pastel yellow plaid was inspired by the vintage Coco suit. The pink plaid Playdate Jacket and crop pants were another hit by the audience reaction. The Highclere Trench is a chic modern plaid, which caught everyone’s eye. The Matchmaker Topper and Skort (a pair of shorts with an overlapping fabric panel) definitely attracted attention and is perfect for the upcoming season.
Cabi fashions can be purchased online or with home parties. This company offers a personal Cabi stylist who will recommend pieces that will fit your body type and your lifestyle. This virtual service is free and is there to help you with your personal needs. You can meet them online from anywhere and on any device. If you would like to book a home show in May, the proceeds will benefit the parish. Contact Relth at [email protected]. All the proceeds from the event go to St. Elizabeth Seton Women’s Auxiliary.
