What is the biggest single issue threatening the community today?
For more than 60 years, the Grantville-Allied Gardens Kiwanis Club has proudly provided volunteer service to the local neighborhood. From sponsoring scouting groups and youth sports teams, to partnerships with local schools, Kiwanis has been working to build a safe and beautiful community that all can be proud of.
Are you concerned about the environment, pollution, or crime? Is there a way to help local children succeed in school? Is there another issue that hasn’t been addressed? Your friendly neighborhood Kiwanis Club can help.
Plan to attend the community mixer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, at Palisades Church, 6301 Birchwood Street (just south of Foster’s Freeze in Allied Gardens). This event is open to the public and is not affiliated with the church itself.
This will be a night full of good information and a few surprises as well… the G.A.G. Kiwanis Club is excited to unveil a brand new large-scale community event that is in the works for 2024. The Club will also present at least one of its college scholarships to a deserving recipient from either San Diego State University or Patrick Henry High School.
The Club hopes you’ll be part of the mixer to meet with other concerned citizens of the area, to enjoy a selection of delicious appetizers from local eateries, and to help G.A.G. Kiwanis Club build its vision for a brighter future.
