Last week, La Mesa Police Department officials met with the family of Cassidy Hopwood, the missing juvenile from El Cajon who was found deceased in La Mesa earlier this year.

According to LMPD, it was their honor to spend some time with Hopwood’s family and to learn additional information that may assist them in determining the circumstances leading up to her death.

The La Mesa Police Department remains dedicated to seeking answers for Hopwood, her family, and her friends. LMPD is asking for the public’s assistance in this case as they continue their investigation.

Individuals can remain anonymous, and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
