Local non-profit San Diego Oasis will participate in the annual “Trick-or-Treat at Grossmont Center community event.
The annual community event on Monday, Oct. 31, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., invites families to get their costumes on and trick-or-treat throughout the shopping mall, visiting several of the different shops and stores to get candy, play games and activities, and more.
Volunteers with the San Diego Oasis intergenerational tutoring program will hand out new books and candy to trick-or-treaters at the Grossmont Center Halloween Day.
Advanced registration for this free event is encouraged. More information can be found at: grossmontcenter.com.
San Diego Oasis is also hosting a ‘Very Spooky Book Fair’ Oct. 28-31.
The non-profit will hold a book fair in collaboration with Grossmont Center’s Barnes & Noble the weekend prior to Halloween. A portion of your purchase either in-person or online will fund books for an upcoming book giveaway, where volunteers from the intergenerational tutoring program will provide students at a Title 1 school with books.
