The Pacific Beach Surf Club will hold its 22nd annual Summer Longboard Classic at Tourmaline Surf Park on Saturday, June 4. Not only will there be a surf competition for ages 5-75, but there will be vinyl records spinning by Bus Bros DJs; donuts, coffee, water, food, raffle prizes, and a few new surfboards.
This surf contest is open. Enter via www.pacificbeachsurfclub.com. There will be several women’s divisions as well. Spots are limited.
The Pacific Beach Surf Club is a nonprofit so those who become donors may deduct their contribution under IRC Section 170. The club raises funds and gives back to the community.
Some past beneficiaries have been the PB Middle School (surf team and music program), Mission Bay High School, The Walter Munk College Scholarship Fund, Big Sister League, Boys to Men, and Wounded Warriors.
