Albion San Diego looks to get back in the win column when it takes on LA Force on Sunday, May 15 at Canyon Crest Academy Stadium in a rematch of their April 10 game that saw San Diego come out with a convincing 3-1 victory.

Both teams are coming off a loss to Bay Cities FC in their most recent match and are trying to keep pace with division leader Cal United Strikers FC who currently have 14 points in six matches.

“We look forward to the game with LA on Sunday,” said Albion San Diego head coach Ziggy Korytoski. “In our first matchup, we were able to force a couple of mistakes early and turn them into goals.”

San Diego has not played a game since April 30 and is currently ahead of LA Force in the standings with both trying to get back on track knowing that the top three teams in each division make it to the postseason.

“Defensively we must improve over our last 120 minutes and are understanding the value of controlling the game with the ball,” Korytoski added.

San Diego plays three of its next four games at home, which provides the team a great opportunity to accumulate points in the standings with the only road game during that span coming on May 21 when it travels to Arizona to face Valley United FC.

Albion San Diego will face LA Force two more times after Sunday’s match, first on July 2 and then on Sept. 3 both on the road.
