The San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk’s office will be open on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, to issue marriage licenses and perform ceremonies. Appointments have already been booked for the four available locations across the county.
San Diego County Clerk Ernie Dronenburg would like to invite couples to only the Downtown waterfront office if they wish to walk up and tie the knot on the most romantic day of the year. The County Administration Center will be open to walk-ins on Valentine’s Day from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. so all San Diego couples can fall in love this Valentine’s Day.
“We are excited to share the love with couples and are committed to continuing our tradition of offering walk-up weddings on Valentine’s Day,” Dronenburg said. “If you come to our downtown waterfront office this Valentine’s Day before 3 p.m., you can walk in single and walk out married.”
The County Clerk’s office is located at 1600 Pacific Highway at the County Administration Center, and will be open to walk up marriage license issuance and outdoor ceremony services from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ceremonies will be performed at the Waterfront Park, alongside the historical County Administration Center.
This special walk-in opportunity is for Valentine’s Day only. License and ceremony appointments are required all other days at all County Clerk locations. Appointments can be made online at www.sdarcc.com or by calling 619-237-0502.
