Diners, climb aboard ” Pacific Beach’s annual fall restaurant walk has been transformed into a restaurant ride.
Instead of having to walk back and forth between Garnet’s wide variety of restaurants from Cass to Morrell, Discover Pacific Beach is giving diners a lift aboard a double decker bus for the Pacific Beach Restaurant Ride Tuesday, Sept. 18.
Each ticket comes with a map directing diners to more than a dozen restaurants offering samples from their menus, including:
“¢ Bub’s Dive Bar & Grill
1030 Garnet Ave.

“Because it is a larger area, we are going to have several locations on the route, which are marked on the map, and you can jump on and jump off a double decker bus over the course of the evening,” said Benjamin Nicholls from Discover Pacific Beach. “The bus will be a circuit through these different locations. It’s going to be a festive atmosphere on the bus. You can really experience the restaurants without having to blow out your flip-flops.”
Tickets for the Restaurant Ride are $20 and can be purchased at Discover Pacific Beach’s office, 1503 Garnet Ave. Participating restaurants will serve ticket holders from 5 to 9 p.m.
