Always working to improve the looks of everyone that passes through its doors, it was only a matter of time before Dlux Salon turned those efforts on itself. The trendy salon, 1855 Bacon St., recently celebrated its own makeover Saturday, April 1, after six years in Ocean Beach.
“We’ve got a new look and a new vibe to the shop,” said salon owner Eric David. “This party is our way of saying ‘thanks’ to our clients and friends for supporting us over the years and to show off our remodeled shop. We’re also having an art show featuring the works of Nicole Costa and debuting ‘You Beauty’, which is our new make-up line.”
By 10 p.m. the salon was packed and rocking to a live DJ. While sipping samples of grape from the wine store next door, the beautiful people of Dlux partied in style while promoting their new line of hair care and make-up products.
“We want to give our customers something they can’t get elsewhere,” said David. “Part of that plan is making our salon a wellness and beauty sanctuary. We want everyone to enjoy a casual and relaxed atmosphere.”
Waxing and facials are also part of Dlux’s new services in addition to a massage room to service all those tense tendons.
“Since the eyes are the key to the soul we want to accent the eyes as well as hair care and we have an extremely professional staff to see that all of our customers needs are met,” said David.
