The Pacific Beach Town Council is holding its annual heartfelt salute to local emergency workers who make a difference in the community during the Police and Emergency Services Appreciation Night (PAESAN) on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The event, held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the North Crown Point Shores Rotary Club Pavilion in the North Crown Point Shores area, serves to recognize and honor police officers, firefighters, lifeguards and park rangers for their hard work in protecting and serving the beach community.
The cost for the PAESAN event is $5 per person for a barbecue dinner provided by the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club. Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, PB Woman’s Club and American Legion PB Post will all be participating.
Tickets may be purchased at the event, or at pbtowncouncil.org. For more information, call 858-483-6666.
“Honoring the police, firefighters, lifeguards and park rangers for the services they provide to our community, this is our way of saying ‘Thanks for a job well done,’” according to Pacific Beach Town Council.
Lifeguards will be the primary beneficiary of this year’s PAESAN.
Sustaining business sponsors for the event include Toyota Dealers Association, MB Yacht Club, Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa, Crystal Pier, SeaWorld, Steve and Lori Carncross, The Ramirez Group and Schoettle Financial Services.
Tickets for the PAESAN event may be purchased at the PBTC office at 1706 Garnet Ave., or at www.pbtowncouncil.org. For more information, call 858-483-6666 to order tickets for will call. Tickets will also be available at the event.
