PB?Elementary students star in ‘Princess & the Pea’ Under the direction of the Missoula Children’s Theatre, a cast of 50 to 60 students from Pacific Beach Elementary will be starring in a live performance of the “The Princess and the Pea,” Saturday, Oct. 18. Two performances are scheduled, the first at 3 p.m. and the second at 7 p.m. Members of children’s theater visit the school to cast, rehearse and produce live adaptations of classic children’s stories and fairytales. Pacific Beach Elementary is located at 1234 Tourmaline St. *** St. Andrews hosts Bach Collegium concert St. Andrews-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church is hosting a concert by the Bach Collegium San Diego, performing “Musica Poetica: Artusi Challenges Monteverdi.” The performance is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m. The concerts will feature the Bach Collegium Chorus, led by music director Ruben Valenzuela, playing the harpsichord, viola da gamba and theorbo continuo. The music will demonstrate the contrasting Renaissance and early baroque musical styles of Italy and Spain. Tickets for the event are $25, and $12 for students.
