Concerts on the Green organizers announced its summer schedule, with a lineup of returning performers taking the stage for the popular concert series.
The concerts are schedule for four summer Sundays with the crowds kicking off their shoes to dance in the grass at the scenic Kate Sessions Park from 4 to 6:30 p.m. beginning July 20.
This year’s lineup includes Theo & The Zydeco Patrol (July 20), Big Time Operator (July 27), Blues Racket (Aug. 3) and Rockola (Aug. 10).
Box lunches provided by Lotsa Pasta are also available at the concerts. Lunches must be prepaid and ordered by 2 p.m. on the day of the concert. For information call (858) 581-6777.
Concerts organizers are also seeking donations and sponsors to help cover the more than $10,000 in expenses for the four events. Donors who contribute $100 or more will be recognized in concert promotional materials.
The event is organized by the Pacific Beach Community Foundation and the Pacific Beach Town Council (PBTC).
