Monte Verde is proposing to build two 30-story towers and two 35-story towers on the corner of La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue, across from Westfield Shoppingtown’s University Towne Centre mall.
The public is invited to review the draft environmental impact report for the project. Public comments are due by Sept. 27.
The University Community Planning Group is hosting a series of meetings to review the environmental document. The upcoming meeting schedule is Sept. 21, 27 and 28, and Oct. 4 and 5. All the meetings will be held at 6 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, 4126 Executive Drive.
Copies of the draft EIR can be viewed at the University Community Branch Library, 4155 Governor Drive, or at the Central Library, 820 E St.
