Boosters of the PLHS golf teams are preparing to tee up for the group’s second annual fundraiser.
A golf tournament and barbecue buffet dinner are planned for Oct. 3, with registration at 2 p.m., a shotgun start at 3 p.m. and dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. Site of the tournament is the Loma Club Golf Course, formerly Sail Ho, a 9-hole venue.
Local golfers are invited to join the fun, which will include golf professionals Chris and Michelle Riley as special guests.
The family-friendly event is for golfers of all levels and funds raised will benefit the Pointer men’s and women’s golf teams.
Golf and dinner are priced at $60 or $35 each if purchased separately. Registration forms and raffle tickets are online at www.pointlomahighgolf.com. Players may register as a pair.
