OCEAN BEACH — The Skin Cancer Foundation has launched another series of national mobile “Road to Healthy Skin Tours,” with a planned stop in Ocean Beach on Saturday, Aug. 14. The exams, presented by AVEENO and Rite Aid, entail a free, full-body evaluation for melanomas, actinic keratoses (the most common pre-cancer) and basal cell carcinomas. Since 2008, 224 dermatologists have donated their time and expertise and probided over 6,500 screenings. The exams take place in a 38-foot RV with two exam rooms.
