Zirin brings ‘Terrordome’ to D.G. Wills Books
Sportswriter Dave Zirin will be at D.G. Wills Books this Friday, July 13, 7 p.m., for a book signing and discussion.
Zirin, recently called “the best young sportswriter in America” by Bob Lipsyte of the New York Times, will be signing copies of his new book “Welcome to the Terrordome: The Pain, Politics, and Promise of Sports” (Haymarket Books, June 2007), equal parts sports history and political expose.
Zirin has been touring across America to promote the book, discussing the state of sports, politics and the points at which the two intersect.
Cable television’s C-SPAN Book TV will be covering this free event at D.G. Wills Books.
