This is an open letter to the parents and their children, now adults, who have lived in Silver Gate, Cabrillo, and Sunset View school districts from 1957 through 1987.
At this season of Thanksgiving, I want to thank all of you: the students and their parents with whom I had the pleasure of sharing our classroom all those years ago. I hope you still find this earth as exciting and interesting a place as we discovered so long ago and that you will pass these thoughts on to those younger than you. I further hope that you are still questioning, still learning for the good and the true.
Thank you for giving me as much as I may have given you.
