USD students are organizing a 5K run to be held 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Mission Point Park in South Mission Beach. The goal is to bring the USD and Mission Beach communities together to support a worthy cause. The event, “Strides For Survival,” benefits Shades of Pink and the Scripps Polster Breast Cancer Care Center.
Pre-registration is $12 and registration the day of the run is $15.
The student organizers ask that the Mission Beach community come out and show their support and take a minute to meet some of the USD student participants. There will be games and activities planned for after the race.
