I am wondering why the people who favor this infringement on the rights of those who drink responsibly, and who come up with letters and sayings like, “alcohol ban gave us our beach back” or “worked even better than we anticipated while making the beach area safer,” do not carry it one step further.
Why not place some responsibility for the safety infringements and trashing of the beach and the mob scenes preventing locals from being able to enjoy “their beach” squarely upon the shoulders of the San Diego City Council and the Chamber of Commerce for encouraging such “mob scene celebratory orgies” in the first place?
