A 23-year-old male motorcyclist was riding eastbound on 1200 Garnet Avenue speeding about 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. The motorcyclist accelerated at a high rate of speed and tried to split the lanes between two cars that were stopped at a red light. He clipped both cars and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to the hospital with multiple serious injuries. They are non life threatening injuries. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
