A woman was rescued from a cliff along the shores of Torrey Pines State Beach on April 19.
The woman stumbled onto the cliff off North Torrey Pines Road shortly before 3 p.m. and injured her leg, San Diego Fire-Rescue said. A rescue helicopter was immediately called in to airlift the woman, who was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital with a minor lower leg injury, possibly to her ankle, rescue officials said. — La Jolla Patch
