CleanPB is sponsored by the Pacific Beach Town Council and the San Diego Art Institute. The CleanPB campaign is all about the idea of CLEAN – Community Litter Education and Awareness Network. The emphasis is on community, raising awareness and educating people. “Let’s Talk Trash” and “Keep it Clean” are just two of the many humorous and eye-catching slogans on T-shirts, tote bags, posters and coasters that will be given away to help spread the word. Volunteers are needed to clean up and to help distribute the CleanPB materials. Students earn community service hours.
