Signups will be held through July 31. The fall ball season runs from mid-August through mid-November and is less competitive than the spring season. It can also help those looking to break into the high school softball coaching ranks. MBHS is holding two softball clinics at McEvoy Field, 2701 Grand Ave., on the next two Sundays. A free batting clinic will be held Sunday, July 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. and a free fielding clinic will be held Sunday, Aug. 1 from 3 to 5 p.m. Interested players can e-mail [email protected] before July 31. The cost per player ranges between $90 and $110. Beach VB tourney accepting players The King and Queen Beach Volleyball Celebration is accepting registration for its annual round-robin tournament to be held Saturday, July 24 at Mariner’s Point.
